Partnerships That Move Food and Health Forward

Building Stronger Pathways to Food, Health, and Community Support

Food 4 Maryland collaborates with healthcare providers, health plans, community organizations, universities, government agencies, food producers, businesses, and economic-development stakeholders throughout Maryland and the Washington, D.C. region.

Some collaborations are public, while others remain confidential or are still developing. What connects them is a shared commitment to expanding access, improving health outcomes, and strengthening communities.

1. Healthcare Providers & Health Plans

We work with care teams, health systems, insurers, and community health providers to connect eligible patients and members with fresh, medically supportive meals and nutrition support.

2. Community & Nonprofit Organizations

We collaborate with organizations addressing food insecurity, behavioral health, housing instability, family needs, and other barriers that affect health.

3. Universities & Research Teams

We support research, program evaluation, student engagement, workforce development, nutrition innovation, and evidence-informed solutions.

4. Government & Public Agencies

We engage local, county, state, and federal stakeholders to improve access, coordinate community programs, strengthen infrastructure, and support sustainable public-health solutions.

5. Farmers, Producers & Food Suppliers

We work across the regional food system to source fresh ingredients, strengthen supply chains, reduce waste, and create opportunities for Maryland producers.
