In a 2025 behavioral-health initiative, Food 4 Maryland’s medically supportive meal program was associated with an approximately 54% increase in outpatient behavioral health clinic visits.
Food 4 Maryland’s medically supportive meal program was associated with a greater than 70% reduction in psychiatric hospitalization spending, representing nearly $500,000 in reduced costs.
